With a song and dance performance that the King himself would have been proud, Barry Paull worked the crowd at the Cosham Community Centre last Saturday night, successfully raising awareness and funds Headway Portsmouth.
Guests were treated to a medley of Elvis tunes and songs from the 50’s and 60’s, with energetic gyrations and the distinctive lip quiver thrown in for good measure!
Barry Paull was on stage for nearly 4 hours, going down a storm as the local crowd jived and clapped along!
Joy Ward, Headway Funding Manager said “Barry is such a fantastic showman and the local community love him so much that the event was sold out many weeks before.”
Barry Paull,, a retained fire-fighter from Ilminster, added, “I am pleased that through my tribute show we have helped raise nearly £1,000 to support the service Headway provides”.
Headway have booked ‘Elvis’ to return in September 2015 and tickets are already being reserved!
